Manchester Montessori House was founded by Sylwia Zywotko in 2008 as a group for home educating families. After recognising a growing desire for alternative education in Manchester Sylwia searched for a beautiful setting to open an authentic Montessori kindergarten. In 2022, thanks to her passion and dedication, Manchester Montessori House opened its doors to welcome children aged 3 to 6 offering them a French and English bilingual Montessori education.
Manchester Montessori House provides a prepared environment enabling children to reach their full potential during the most important first six years and beyond. The environment is calm, safe, and inviting.

At Manchester Montessori House children are treated with the respect, given the attention they deserve, and looked after as unique individuals. Children are given the opportunity to grow in a consistent and harmonious environment with prepared practitioners who follow the child, adapting to their rhythm and psychological needs. Our practitioners support children to develop self-discipline, motivation, and a love of work as a natural response to their internal needs.
